Manchester United and Arsenal are among the clubs showing interest in Club Brugge left-back Joaquin Seys, with the Belgian side valuing the 21-year-old at around £30 million. According to the latest reports, several clubs are monitoring the Belgium international, including Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Benfica and Porto, making Seys one of the more sought-after young defenders on the market.

Manchester United and Arsenal Join the Race
Seys has become an important player for Club Brugge since breaking into the senior side in 2024. The defender made 39 appearances across all competitions during the 2025-26 campaign, starting 35 of those matches, while contributing two goals and five assists. His ability to operate on either side of the defence has also added to his appeal, with Club Brugge noting his performances at both left-back and right-back.
Manchester United are reportedly viewing Seys as a potential long-term option at left-back, while Arsenal are also attracted by his defensive and attacking qualities. Any move, however, would require a significant investment, with Club Brugge reportedly placing a £30m valuation on the player. Seys is not approaching the final year of his contract either: Club Brugge extended his agreement through 2029, giving the Belgian club a strong negotiating position.
Arsenal Already Have Recent Brugge Connection
Arsenal's interest is particularly notable because the Premier League champions have already completed major business with Club Brugge this summer. The Gunners signed Greece international Christos Tzolis for £34m in July, with the winger arriving on a five-year contract after scoring 17 league goals and providing 23 assists during the previous campaign.
That recent relationship could make Arsenal a club to watch if the pursuit of Seys develops, although there is currently no indication that a deal has been agreed. For Manchester United, the Belgian's age, versatility and established experience at Club Brugge offer an opportunity to add a developing defender rather than simply another short-term solution. With multiple clubs reportedly competing for his signature and Brugge holding a long-term contract, the next stage of the race is likely to depend on whether any interested club is prepared to meet the £30m valuation.
