Arsenal have informed Pedro Neto’s representatives of their interest in signing the Chelsea winger, with the Portuguese international now emerging as a potential target for Mikel Arteta’s side. Chelsea are understood to be open to listening to offers for the 26-year-old, but any proposal would need to be considered reasonable, with the Blues’ asking price believed to be around £70 million. There is currently no indication that Arsenal have made a formal bid or that an agreement is close.

Chelsea Set £70m Price for Neto
Neto remains an important attacking option for Chelsea despite the uncertainty surrounding his future. He made 52 appearances in all competitions during the 2025/26 season, starting 43 matches, and finished the campaign with 10 goals and 10 assists. His 10 assists were the highest total recorded by any Chelsea player across all competitions, highlighting the creative value he could bring to another Premier League side.
The winger joined Chelsea from Wolverhampton Wanderers in August 2024 on a seven-year contract. The original deal was reported at around £54m including add-ons, meaning Chelsea would be looking for a significant return if they decide to sell him after only two seasons at Stamford Bridge. Neto is a Portugal international and has established himself as a regular at club and international level after previously spending five years with Wolves.
Arsenal Consider Another Premier League Addition
For Arsenal, Neto would offer Premier League experience and another versatile attacking option capable of operating from the wide areas. His 20 goal contributions last season underline the productivity behind Chelsea’s £70m valuation, although the financial side of any deal could prove decisive given the size of the asking price. Arsenal’s interest also comes as the club continues to assess options to strengthen its attacking department.
The situation remains at an early stage, with Arsenal having communicated their interest to Neto’s representatives rather than agreeing a transfer with Chelsea.
