Arsenal explore a different route for Osimhen
Rather than simply negotiating a conventional cash transfer, Arsenal are considering a player-plus-cash structure to make the deal possible. Galatasaray have shown interest in Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri, although Martinelli has reportedly rejected a move to Turkey, meaning the composition of any potential package remains uncertain.
The challenge is convincing Galatasaray to part with Osimhen. The 27-year-old signed permanently for the Turkish champions after an outstanding loan spell in 2024/25 and remains one of their most important players. Galatasaray have also rejected a reported £111 million offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, underlining the difficulty of Arsenal's proposal.
Osimhen remains a proven goalscorer
Osimhen scored 22 goals and registered five assists in 32 appearances for Galatasaray during the 2025/26 season, according to Opta's player data. He also added seven goals and one assist in 10 Champions League appearances, giving him 29 goals across all competitions.
The striker's record makes him an attractive option for Arsenal as they look to add further firepower to their attack. However, the latest reports indicate that Galatasaray's position remains firm, so Arsenal's willingness to include players could prove crucial if negotiations develop into a formal transfer proposal.
