De Zerbi sends clear message
"I like Richarlison as a player, as a guy, it's unbelievable the attitude and behaviour, but at the end we have to respect what he wants to do," De Zerbi said, before adding: "We love him. Let's see what he wants to do." The Italian coach also revealed there is still uncertainty over the striker's intentions, explaining that Richarlison has previously expressed both a desire to stay and an openness to leaving, leaving Tottenham waiting for a final decision.
Strong numbers despite transfer speculation
Richarlison enjoyed one of his best seasons since arriving in North London during the 2025/26 campaign. The Brazil international made 43 appearances across all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing five assists, including 11 Premier League goals as Spurs secured their top-flight status. Those performances have kept his market value high, but De Zerbi's latest comments suggest Tottenham are prepared to support whichever path the striker ultimately chooses.
