According to Fabrizio Romano, official club-to-club negotiations are now underway, with Ajax demanding around €60 million for one of Europe's most exciting young attackers. Ajax holding firm on valuation
Ajax are reluctant to lose one of their standout performers and have made it clear they expect a fee in the region of €60 million. The Belgian remains under contract until June 2029, strengthening the Dutch club's negotiating position. PSG's sporting advisor Luis Campos has identified Godts as a priority attacking target, with discussions progressing after positive talks with the player's camp.
Breakout season fuels transfer interest
Godts enjoyed a sensational 2025/26 campaign, making 44 appearances across all competitions for Ajax while scoring 17 goals and providing 13 assists. The Belgian international also won Ajax's Talent of the Year award after establishing himself as one of the Eredivisie's most dangerous dribblers and creative forwards. Those performances have attracted interest from several top European clubs, but PSG currently appear to be leading the race as negotiations continue.
