The Egyptian striker has resumed training and will initially work with the reserve squad

Egyptian forward begins individual programme

The Egypt international trained separately from the first-team squad as the coaching staff managed his return. Nantes are easing the striker back into action following his absence since the squad resumed preparations for the new season.

Mohamed joined Nantes permanently from Galatasaray in 2023 and has remained an important attacking option for the French side. He has scored 24 goals in all competitions since arriving at the club.

Reserve team next step in comeback

As part of his return programme, Mohamed is expected to train with Nantes' reserve team before rejoining the senior squad. The move is designed to help him regain full match fitness in a controlled environment.

The striker's return provides a boost for Nantes as they prepare for the new Ligue 1 campaign, with the club hoping he will soon be available for first-team selection.
