VfL Wolfsburg have reached a full agreement with TSG Hoffenheim to sign Muhammed Damar in a deal worth up to €6 million. The transfer is now considered complete, with the 21-year-old midfielder expected to undergo his medical within the next 72 hours before the move is officially announced.
Wolfsburg secure highly rated German talent
The agreement includes a package valued at €6m, including bonuses, with around €5m guaranteed. Hoffenheim have also negotiated a sell-on clause as part of the deal, ensuring they will benefit from any future transfer involving the German midfielder.
Damar joined Hoffenheim's academy in 2022 and has developed into one of the club's most promising young players. Capable of playing as an attacking midfielder or in a deeper creative role, he impressed during his loan spell at SV Elversberg, attracting interest from several Bundesliga clubs.
Medical scheduled before official announcement
The only remaining detail concerns the length of Damar's contract with Wolfsburg, while all other aspects of the transfer have already been agreed. The medical examination is expected to take place within the next three days.
Once the medical is completed and the contract is signed, Wolfsburg will officially unveil Damar as one of their latest signings, adding another young German prospect to their squad ahead of the new Bundesliga season.
