Porto fail to change the player's mind
Porto have made a serious attempt to hijack the deal by presenting competitive offers to both Pejčinović and Wolfsburg. However, according to reports from Germany, the Serbian striker remains focused on completing a move to Stuttgart and is not considering changing his preferred destination at this stage.
Negotiations between Stuttgart and Wolfsburg are continuing, with both clubs working to find common ground on the transfer fee and final structure of the deal.
Strong season fuels transfer interest
Pejčinović attracted significant attention after an impressive 2025/26 campaign. The striker made 34 appearances across all competitions, scoring 16 goals and providing five assists, establishing himself as one of the Bundesliga's emerging attacking talents.
With the player fully committed to joining Stuttgart, the transfer now depends on the two German clubs reaching an agreement. Unless negotiations collapse unexpectedly, Stuttgart remain in pole position despite Porto's persistent attempts to lure the striker to Portugal.
